How does one decide to become a feeder bowl builder? Probably by accident. It all started when Douglas Wilcox walked in to the wrong building with a job application in 1973. The owner asked if Doug thought he could build this thing he had never seen before, and he said, "of course I can". For over 30 years he was the lead builder at Jack's Vibratory Feeders (no longer in business). In 2002, Doug opened the doors of West Coast Vibratory Feeders and brought the company from the ground up in to a success. In 2013, the business was passed on to Doug's son, Sean Wilcox. Sean has been working with Doug in the feeder industry since the days of JVF in the 1990's. He continues to carry on his father's passion for making the highest quality product while giving the customer a pleasant experience.
